Palm Suites

This was a great place to stay with the location being in close proximity to many shops and restaurants-some within walking distance. Room and facilities were very clean, cute and cozy. Grounds were well maintained with relaxing with beautiful views. It was very quiet and peaceful, and a great value for the amenities too. Would definitely stay again!

I want to say thank you to Erica for helping me book 2 rooms for a family of 7(last minute)Thank you Sharon for treating us like family as we entered Palm Suites. She was super nice. She made it feel like home. We spoke like we had known each other for years yet I have never met her. The rooms were very spacious and we enjoyed our view. All in all we had an awesome time the dock was awesome we loved seeing the boats come in and all the people waving. We did not mind bringing our towels to the front for exchange for some new ones. The pool was slightly warm(it’s smaller and it was a hot day)but we enjoyed playing in it. Loved that it was salt water and not chlorine. Ohh at the front desk there is coffee for free. Drinks and snacks for purchase. The walk to the circle(AB) is a lengthy one but is doable. We will def be back!! Thank you Palm Suites for making us feel at home.

This has been a great experience for us. The room was super clean and very nice. Staff has been perfect. They have a pool and a covered dock with great views. Natural scenery all around. I would leave 6 stars if I could.

Okay, this is not the swankiest hotel/condo you will ever visit. But its really good, especially for the price. Yes, there is some wear and tear in the public spaces, especially the stairwells. But the hallways and rooms are really in good shape and very clean. The view from the back towards the sound is beautiful. The pool, while a bit small is very well kept and we really enjoyed using it. There is a dock on the sound just behind the hotel with a covered gazebo and picnic tables. And the walk to the beach is not that bad once you get across the main road. Its only 4 blocks to the ocean and less than 1/2 mile to the main Atlantic Beach oceanfront (aka The Triangle). The staff was very friendly and took good care of us. You can tell they work to keep the place as nice as possible. The only warning I have at all is the limited parking. The lot was full every night and the spots are a bit snug for full size modern pickup trucks. Also, it is my understanding that only one car is allowed on the lot per condo unit and I did see a car being towed that was not supposed to be there.

We will come again. With the review of musty smelling rooms, we determined it was from wet beach towels of our own. Very comfortable, quiet and just right size for the three of us. Very friendly staff. We give this place a 10. Very convenient to public access beaches of white sand. This should be the new play area if West Virginians.

Dropped by town sorta last minute and booked here since it was very affordable compared to the other spots nearby. Gotta say I loved this little place and will definitely book here again when I’m passing through! Corei at the front desk was very friendly, helpful with getting me checked in, and also giving recommendations for the area. The room is admittedly small, but fairly cozy, and has a great view from the balcony. Has all the basics: microwave, fridge, cabinets, iron, drawers, and a cute beach theme too. Everything was very clean and quiet though I did come during the off season. The pool was nice, views of the water are lovely, and the dock and seating area were a great addition and a nice place to relax. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Overall it was a pretty decent stay. The room was fine and the location was great. My only complaint is the room I was in smelled a little like mildew when I entered. I think it was from the AC unit. I ended up just opening the door to the balcony to air it out which resolved the issue. The balcony door however was not in the best shape and had to be closed kinda hard and locked after to ensure it stayed closed. On my last night staying the person in the room next to me was loudly playing guitar and singing between 12-1am despite the hotels 11pm-7am quiet hours however Isabella at the front desk was extremely helpful with fixing this problem and speaking to the other guests.

Just stayed for the first time and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The room was adorable and felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room, which made for a very comfortable stay. The beds were firm but nice. Everything was very clean when we arrived--thanks to our housekeeper Mary! Coffee in the lobby was good too. Only thing that might have improved our stay would have been having reading lights by the bunkbeds in our room, but that's a fairly minor quibble. All in all we loved it and will definitely be back!
